R&D Services

1. R&D in Rock Mechanics deals with reviewing existing works and solving the local challenges.

2. Drill bit selection for the specific geology and constraints have large number of unknown parameters, local R&D will address the issues.

3. Drilling analysis needs R&D work to understand why drilling efficiencies decreases drastically as compared to strengthening of rocks. Analyzing vibrational is also key to drilling R&D.

4. R&D work from interdisciplinary approach will focus estimating formation properties reliably.

5. R&D is urgently needed in Geothermal Engineering; especially, where, drilling crystalline rocks is challenging.

6. R&D in CCUS would focus characterize the subsurface, limiting injection pressure, and outline plumes.

7. R& D in fracture design may use integrated approach of Geomechanical modeling, in-situ stress estimation and rock mechanical properties, and sweet spots to segregate formation for stage and cluster design.
